Ok..... Im gona be honest here.




I have absolutely NO IDEA how to do CG at all. I have trawled thousands of tutorials and not a one have pointed me in a direction i can follow.


Im not afaid to practice practice practice BUT PRACTICE WHAT!!!.


I am not looking for some MIRACLE tutorial or a magic bullet thats gona rocket me into art history...but i would like practical advice on how to line out my pencil work decently. I use photoshop CS3 and I do the vectors thing, but according to some tuts I dont get the end result they do even after following the instructions to the letter.....

Example...

They say "Stroke path with simulated pressure/no simulated pressure..." I do so and end up with something very different. Even after repeating the process several times.

I won't lie, this grinding my wheels is very disheartening and depressing...
I'm almost come to the point where I want to just give up all together.
Please, can someone help me? I just need someone to understand where I am at and point me in the right direction. Im not asking for a tutorial (I have 1000s) Im asking for advice and if you feel up to it a demonstration or what ever

I'll beg if I have to.
